Storytime with Zeba McGibbon
Join us for Sunday Storytime with local author Zeba McGibbon. She will read her books Felipe The Feeling Frog and Trixie The Thoughtful Turtle from “The Caring Critter Series”

About The Book:
Trixie loves to be silly and loves to make her friends laugh. But Trixie learns that there are times when being silly is actually distracting, annoying, or unsafe to our friends. Trixie learns the difference between expected and unexpected behaviors, and how our choices can affect others.
Trixie the Thoughtful Turtle is from the Caring Critters series! These social and emotional learning books are designed to support children ages 4-7 with important social and emotional skills, such as kindness, impulse control, problem-solving, independence, etc. These books were all written by a kindergarten teacher after seeing exactly what skills her students needed help learning. They have been helping her students for years with great success!
About The Author:
Zeba McGibbon is a local teacher, curriculum creator, and children’s book author. Through her curriculum creation company, Kindergarten Cafe, Zeba supports early childhood educators from arrival to dismissal with classroom-tested strategies and materials. Zeba created The Caring Critters Series to help teach her kindergarten students important social-emotional skills and strategies. Now, she gets to use these stories to help, not just her students, but young children all over the world!
